Linda Rosenstein Goodman, 81, of Louisville, passed away April 11, 2026. A UofL graduate, social worker, and devoted wife, Linda met her husband Stephen in college, beginning a 59-year partnership in family and business.

A dedicated community leader, she was a founding member of UofL Hillel and served on the board for the JCC and Temple Sisterhood. Volunteered for the JFCS Food Pantry, earning the Ronald and Mane Abrams Volunteer of the Year Award. She also received a Pinnacle Award for her contributions to The Temple.

If you knew her, you loved her, was the simple truth that defined her life. She made everyone around her feel truly seen and deeply appreciated. An angel amongst us!

Preceded in death by parents, Adora and Gilbert Rosenstein; sister JoAnn Musicante, and brother Gene Rosenstein. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Stephen; children Alyce (Howard), Stacy, and Seth; and grandchildren Aiden and Shayna. Step-grandchildren, Thomas and Mary (Nathan).

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 16 at The Temple, 5101 US Hwy 42, Louisville, beginning with the visitation at 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow in The Temple Cemetery.
